Lansing Community College

The Veteran's Memorial is an interactive exhibit that is housed in the Health and Human Services Building on LCC's Downtown Campus. The memorial was developed to honor Michigan veterans, with a special emphasis on those in Ingham, Eaton, and Clinton counties. Local veterans who served with distinction may be nominated for induction into the memorial.

The ninth annual induction will begin at noon on Nov. 9 in the HHS Atrium. Lunch will follow.

This year’s inductees include NASA Astronaut and Marine Corps Col. Jack R. Lousma (Vietnam Era), U.S. Army Air Forces 1st Lieutenant Wayne E. Lesher (World War II), and Marine Corps Gunnery Sergeant Joseph J. Filko (World War II, Korean War and Vietnam War). Please join us in honoring their service.
